WMUR TV in New Hampshire released their periodic Granite State Poll today, and Texas Gov. Rick Perry is polling in 5th place with 4% of the respondents indicating they'd vote for him if the election is held today.
WMUR Granite State Poll Results 10/7/2011:
Romney: 37%
Cain: 12%
Paul: 9%
Huntsman: 8%
Perry: 4%
Gingrich: 4%
Everyone else: 2%
(+/- 4% margin of error)
WMUR reports that Herman Cain has only visited New Hampshire once, in August. Perry has been in the Granite State several times since announcing his bid.
The only good news in this poll for Perry is that 89% of the same sample group say that their minds are not totally settled on the choice they gave the pollster. Perry has a chance to woo them.
The New Hampshire primary will most likely be Jan. 8, 2012, but officials in New Hampshire continue to struggle with setting a date early enough to retain the tradition of being the "first in the nation." This is after Florida and South Carolina moved their primaries into January.

I'm finding Perry to be a bit
I'm finding Perry to be a bit lathargic. Anyone that knows Perry and how he campaigns sees this! What people have to understand as well is that Obama is coming after Texas (I believe by design) with EPA, the recent denial of fire disaster funds and the red tape placed on deportation. Perry still has a job in Texas whereas Cain is off a week, a month, selling his book and who knows where Romney is. (I personally see him sipping on a martini sitting by the pool in one of his 5 homes) lol But absolutely NONE of these candidates have the challenge that Perry has! None on a border state .. none with the energy that Texas provides .. none with the illegals in population that Texas has to deal with. Compared to Perry .. they might as well be sleeping as far as I'm concerned. So yea I feel and hear some tiredness in his energy. Given the presidents job if a president is actually doing their job .. I feel Perry is showing he can handle the complications and the daily battles that a president must take on.
Romney has a home in NH so add a plus for him on that.
Cain talks a good walk and he is enthusiastic. But why shouldnt he be? How much is there to really vette him on? Wheres his proof that he will do as he says he will do? To me, this country was put at risk by an unknown, inexperienced fella that no one would listen to any negative. Well that man is Obama! Sorry I don't want another one or take the chance of getting another one on the opposite side. As much as I know about Newt that scares me. I would put my vote with him before I would an unknown, flip flopping Cain or flip flopping obamacare loving Romney! Paul and Huntsman aren't even one of my considerations!
